We have a 1984 First 38. 1. We want to install an electric widlass. We need some ideas concerning good products and placement. 2. We also are looking at generators in the 4 to 5 KW range. The one that is being promoted by the people who work on my boat is an Entec West (Portland, Oregon)product with a model number of EW-4200-D. The main draws on power are an A/C, battery charger, microwave (soon to be added) and occassional small appliances being plugged in. Any thoughts about what works well and any feedback particularly on the Entec generator would be appreciated.
