Windlass for 2002 Hunter 32

My wife and I have just purchased a 2002 Hunter 32, which doesn't have a windlass. We would like to know what model of electric windlass other 32 owners have purchased. We were told by Hunter that it was originally designed for a Simpson Lawrence Anchorman 800 series windlass, but these are no longer in production and Lewmar has purchased the company. We would like to install it in the anchor locker on the flat section that is meant for the windlass. Hopefully someone out there can recommend one.

Of course it all depends on how frequently you anchor out. But you should be able to haul in the anchor without a windlass. Simply pull the line in until it's on top of the anchor and gently motor forward to tug it loose. Talk to others in the marina as to how they do it. A windlass is one more strain on the battery and a PIA to install if it's not OEM.
