Wind Indicator Install

Looking for ideas on the installation of the indicator for ST60 series. I have the mast down but I really do not want to take out the track that holds all the electrical wires.Thinking about just letting in hang inside??Thanks

Slap

Mike, If you do that, the wire may slap the sides of the mast, very annoying, especially at anchor.Have you room to use an electrician's snake in the conduit?Good Luck, John

In the tube for wires only..

I had done this to my 29.5 plus a thicker VHF antena wire .there should be no problem , just patience , and if available a thin long flexible wire to lead.Outside this conduit, it will slap ,and eventually damage itself.

Track Access

Had my mast off earlier and rewired everything. The track piece slid out very easily giving good access to wires etc.

Thanks for all the help. We went to a local hardware store and purchased a 50 foot piece of flat wire that is used to fish wires down interior walls ($10). We slid it right into the track and it worked great.
