The loop that is used to wench the boat onto the trailer is loose.
How do you get to the back side to tighten it up?

Not sure which boat you have, but forward in the V-berth for the S. I cut a bigger hole than what was there so that I could get to the ....

....mounting hardware for the bow rollers for the anchors better when I made them. You can see the plywood cover over the hole I made ...

...in the picture above.

If you don't have an access hatch you might have to make one.

A cleaner mod than mine our those screw in hatches....

...but they aren't big enough for what I was doing,

its called a bow eye. the factory only had some pine wood and tiny washers backing it up.

yes you'll need to cut the inner liner to access it, then remove it, add new epoxy of some kind of support so it doesn't pull out, and redrill and install.

I got the 6" bow eye from WM rather than use the stock one. some install 2 eyes while they are in there.

+ check the width, there are different sizes. if you replace it.

On my V22, there is no "cover" over the area, and only a very soggy piece of pulpy wood remained. I dug it all out, then filled it with Durakote... then drilled the holes for the bow eye and resecured. The fiberglass of the hull will give way before that block of putty does.
