I am having sticky winch issues with my Oday '23. The starboard winch really sticks and will only turn with a winch handle. I'd like to try to lubricate it but don't know where/how to add the winch lube. Do I have to remove the whole winch from the bolts on the bottom (accessible from inside the cabin) or is there another way to do it? The winch is a Barlow #16. And while I am at it, another question I have is if anyone has felt it necessary to add a tiller extension to the standard tiller of a Oday '23. It seems like it would be simple to drill a hole in the handle and mount an extension. Has anyone tried this? What type of extension/mounting system did you use and how are the results?
