I recently purchased a 1972 27' Catalina. Does anyone know where I might be able to get winch handles to her? The winches are slotted. Very early type and very unusual.

Look around your area at used marine chandleries. You can also find them occasionally at boater swap meets, but don't hold your breath on either. Those winches are so old that most of those handles fell overboard LOOOONG ago! I'm lucky enough to have TWO - and, no, I won't sell one!!
