Winch Handle
If your 22 is like my M-25, it will take the standard handles. My humble suggestion is thatr you buy a floating winch handle. That might get rid of the problem that you now find yourself in now! If, however, your winches are like my V-23, it takes a special handle with a 3/4" hole in the middle. I don't thnk he used these on the MacGregor line, just the older Ventures. But he did use a cheap winch, that did not ratchet which made cranking difficult when it was away from you. If that is what they are, I would buy new ones (or at least start budgeting for them). They will make your life much easier
