Winch: Barlow 25

O'Day 34/35 Primary Jib Winches:

My 1985 O'Day 35 has Barlow 25 winches which are no longer made nor supported by the manufacturer which bought out Barlow (Australian)

Recently the top of the drum which is made of a composition material cracked and fell off of the winch.

I need either the composition top piece, or a complete drum.

Failing that I would be interested in purchasing a complete Barlow 25 which has the same bolt pattern as the one on my boat to simplify the swap out process.

I have just bought Tailing Jaws for my Barlow #23 Winch and got it through Hutton Winches in Brisbane, Austrailia.

E mail Allen@thehuttons.com.au and he should be able to tell you is the parts you are looking for are in his stock. Hutton Yacht Winches of Austrailia took over the Barient and Barlow line of parts. Also visit Huttons Web Site and they show some of the parts that they have in Stock for Barlow Winches.
