Your toilet is a "Junior"

The "Junior" was a slightly smaller version of the "Imperial"...And it's all BRONZE, not brass...you don't want any brass on a boat! It's a fine toilet, top of the line in its day. Thetford discontinued it, along with the entire W-C product line when they bought W-C a few years ago. Rebuild kits are about the only parts still available for it--for any W-C toilets any more.

I have the exploded drawings and parts list for it...If you'd like to send me an email--EMAIL, not a PM--I can attach 'em to a reply. To send an email, just click on my name at the left of this post, then click on email.

Crittenden toilet

Thank you Peggy. I just tried to send you an email but for some reason it would not work. My email is gregreimann@hotmail.com What are these little buggers worth today? I was thinking of either selling it or just rebuilding it IE. new gaskets, and using it in a little trailer.

just had to share

I just had to share this picture of the little toilet with my feet in the pic to show just how little it is. I have never been into toilets before but this thing just makes me smile! Its just like a toilet,.......but smaller! OH,...and is this on the bottom a date mark? On the other side its a lot of overlaid marks. Greg ps,...hope these pictures attached.??

Yup, that's a "Junior"...

The only thing that makes it a "little toilet" is the size of the bowl (and if you think it IS small, you need to check out some "compact" marine toilets)... Marine toilet bowls come in two sizes--"standard" to fit on said "compact" toilets and/or in tight spaces...and what used to be called "highboy" and now renamed "household" (apparently the industry didn't think most people were smart enough to figure out that "highboy" means "larger"). The highboy size will fit your toilet. Bemis is the brand name for 99% of marine toilet bowls.

20 years ago, the W-C Junior sold for about somewhere between $500-700. Rebuild kit prices are all over the wall--Defender was lowest at $117...WM was highest at $184 . Google "WC Junior rebuild kit" to find the best deal. Someone on another board offered one for sale last year, asking $300 for one that he had rebuilt...replies didn't indicate he was nuts, so I'd guess $200-400 is reasonable to ask depending on condition. From the photos it looks like someone has certainly done a major cleaning and polish job on it, so it'll show well.

Got your email, I'll reply with the drawings and parts list.
