I have a 1990 Catalina 30 tall rig with a bow sprit. When I bought the boat it came with another jib. I never paid much attention to it because it was in a sailbag and it had hanks (I have roller furling). I decided that I was going to sell it so I pulled out of the bag and began to measure it. It didn't take but a few seconds for me to realize the sail was almost brand new. I went ahead and measured it and I quickly decided that I was going to keep the sail and have luff tape put where the hanks are. My question is do I need to cut the sail any? The Luff is 40'9". Will that fit my roller furling without any modification. I did check the foot of the sail and it came out to be a 110% jib. The marking on the bag indicated that it was a lapper for a Hunter 34.Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated
