Wilcox Crittenden, replace or not?

Peggy,

I will be purchasing a new to me boat that has a Wilcox Crittenden head, circa 1989. It will require at the least a rebuild kit. Would I be better off getting the Raritan upgrade? Do you know if the bowl from the Wilcox Crittenden will match up to the Raritan upgrade? Thank you for Get Rid of Boat Odors. I have found your advice wonderful. That's just what we have. I bought the whole replacement (have yet to install it), but the bowl WILL fit. Been discussed here a lot of times.

Replace it!

It's worn out...not worth the price of a rebuild kit. Besides, Thetford-Norcold killed off the whole W-C line at the end of '09 ('08?), so there aren't many parts still available for it except a kit.

The PHC "conversion" sbo.com PHII PHC LBA is the best choice by far...yes, your W-C bowl WILL fit!
