What is the retail price for a Oday 12 Widgeon 2002 model? How much do they cost new? Please help. I have an opportunity to purchase a Widgeon 12 for $1800. Is this a good deal? Are they stable and fast?

I don't know what the 2002 model sold for new but the 2003 was $4295. By that I would say that $1800 is a fair price. Older boats of this model (70' and 80') draw a price between $900 to $1300 with trailer. If the boat in question has a trailer (trailers are $600) then it's a good deal. That's if it is in very good condition. As for how they sail go to the model information page on this site and read the owner reviews. Good Luck.
