I saw a post a couple of weeks ago from someone who needed an extendable mast crutch for an H23, but at the time I was too busy to respond. If you still need one, let me know and I'll contact the machine shop. Current price will probably run between $110 and $150 plus shipping, depending on whether you want it powder-coated or not. I'm not sure how long it would take, probably a week or so, plus another week for powder-coating if you don't care what color you get and maybe three weeks more if you want a specific color. The reason is that the machine shop does a lot of high-quality prototype development in exotic metals for the aerospace and entertainment indusries, so piddly stuff like a steel mast crutch is done on the weekends. The powder-coating shop is a full-blown commercial operation, so they put the crutch in the oven with somebody else's order, and all they charge you for is the extra powder. If you want a specific color, you have to wait until somebody puts in an order in that color. If they had to powder-coat just one crutch, the price would be prohibitive. I waited three weeks but I didn't mind, as both shops did an excellent job and I felt I was charged a fair price. Peter H23 "Raven"
