Who made this anchor light?

I thought it looked like a Perko but I tried a Perko lens on it awhile back and the threads didn't fit.
Bristol Yachts vintage 1984.
I mostly want to get an LED bulb for it, and secondly a lens, but only want to climb up there once. I think it's ba15 non indexed bulb but don't know double or single contact.
Anyone know mfg? Then I can research bulb.
I thought about a new fixture but that set screw ain't coming out. And that was with the mast on the ground. Don't want to monkey with that and wiring while up in the air.

I'd do a search for LED anchor light and simply replace the entire unit. There are so many good options out there now. Why risk a bulb that might fit the connector... to only have the wires fail a year later?

Replace it with a sealed LED anchor light. One and done. Marinebeam.

Thanks but that doesn't help.
You would have had to read the whole post.

The screws are welded in there with age, and they're flathead. Not coming out. And certainly not with me in a chair 42 feet in the air. I tried when the mast was out (pic), and couldn't get em to budge. Didn't have time (long story) to let any penetrative stuff soak in. Mast is in the air now, so the fixture stays. There's nothing wrong with it nor the wiring, nor any other wiring in the mast.

I would like to know if anyone recognizes it, so that I can get an LED bulb for it. Yes I'm looking at Marinebeam bulb plus their very cool foredeck bulb to order same time. The bulbs themselves are sealed. Although I've never had corrosion problems with this fixture. The foredeck light is a different story :)

Skipper,
Looks like an old ACR light.
I think the company has change hands or merged over the years.
I had an old tri color combo light with strobe from them that I needed a to replace the strobe light bulb. They couldn't help me, said unit was to old.
But worth a call, maybe send them I picture. If the unit is that old you may have to replace it
Hope this helps.

Thanks Robbie.
It uses a standard size bulb. I replaced it when the mast was down. But of course now can't remember the bulb config. I should have put an LED bulb then.
I may just have to climb up the mast twice. :)

I'm wondering if the screws are through bolted. If they are then removing the masthead fitting may give you access to the nuts and allow the fitting to be removed. Of course you'll have to wait until the mast comes down again.

I'm still looking, but Hella seems to be the closest. Marine Beam will have LED bulbs that should fit. You need to have the bulb in hand when you talk to them. http://www.marinesuperstore.com/lighting/navigation-lights/ecs-12v-anchor-lamp-1470

Here is another source that appears to be very close to what you have. https://www.keoghsmarine.com.au/LIG...Round-White-Navigation-Lights?product_id=6296

Marine Beam has a LED bulb that should fit your fixture here: https://store.marinebeam.com/double-contact-indexed-bay15d-18-led-surface-mount-cluster/

Again, to be sure, you need to have the bulb in hand so that you can describe the bayonet bulb's parts, whether indexed, off set indexed, double contact, etc.

I'm looking at this one in warm white:

And am replacing the ba9s foredeck bulb with this sealed bulb:

The GE89/90 is for a Perko/Attwood fixture. Whether it will fit a Hella, maybe.

Our boat has a combo steaming/foredeck light fixture that I replaced the incandescent bulb with that little BA9S. Whoa!! It really delivers the light for such a small device.

Please let us know your outcome.

I made 2 trips up the mast to double check what bulb I needed and been working great ever
since and the led is way brighter than the old bulb.
Put some electric grease all around and inside the connector and bulb and you will be good to go.

Ok, it's a double contact S90.
@Terry Cox guessed it.

I found this out when I realized that I still had the old bulb from when I installed a new incandescent when the mast was down. I had done this so there would be a new bulb in there, since the mast was down and all. Should have done LED then but...
Sorry :) I could have saved all the analysis. Knucklehead :p
It was 3 years ago. I forgot. Loads of spare bulbs in the bin and all.

Glad to hear that you sorted things out and came up with a solution.
