Who is a good sail loft?

Sail Care in PA is great. I sent mine out to be refurbished this year. 1977 vintage V25. They quote the service. They clean, inspect, propose repairs and re-laminate them at a fraction of the cost of new sails. My sails came back perfect. A couple hundred each instead of more that a thousand if new. That is with new leather corners batten pockets and leach. Very pleasant to deal with too. If fact I ordered all new lines as well.

I've got no issue with Sail Care at all. They do a good job of cleaning, and the relam helps on old worn sails.
But a blown out sail is a blown out sail. And 90% of Sail Care customers HAVE NEVER seen or sailed with new sails on their boat, so they don't know what they are missing.
I tell people it's like repainting an older used car. Looks better, but still just an old car with shiny paint.

Good advice. I'll add that a magregor heels easy. A stretched blowout main makes it worse. Get a new sail. You will have more forward force and less to the side.
