Who Designed Hunter Vision?

I have a 1993 Hunter Vision 36. After some years getting comfortable with it I'm having fun participating in racing. For better or worse I have signed up for the Susan Hood LOOR race the end of this month. As part of the documentation I need a "stability index". I'v searched, but can find nothing related to this. There's 'capsize index' and 'comfort factor' - neither seems to answer the requirement.

Marlow-Hunter can't help, nor do they know who designed the boat - designer could presumably tell me. (doesn't seem to be John Cherubuni).

3.04 Stability - Monohulls
3.04.1 Able to demonstrate compliance with ISO 12217-2* design category B or higher, either by EC Recreational Craft Directive certification having obtained the CE mark or the designer’s declaration * The latest effective version of ISO 12217-2 should be used unless the boat was already designed to a previous version
3.04.2 Where compliance in accordance with 3.04.1 cannot be demonstrated, able to demonstrate either:
a) i a STIX value not less than 23; and ii AVS not less than 130 - 0.005*m, but always >= 95°, (where “m” is the mass of the boat in the minimum operating condition as defined by ISO 12217-2); and iii a minimum righting energy m*AGZ>57000 (where AGZ is the positive area under the righting lever curve in the minimum operating condition, expressed in kg metre degrees from upright to AVS); or
b) Stability Index in ORC Rating System of not less than 103; or c) IRC SSS Base value of not less than 15.

Any help getting this resolved is appreciated. Apologies if I've missed something simple.

A boat gets a validated STIX number by having one of the certifying bodies publish it based on detailed design criteria. As the doc you quoted notes, this can be the designer, but I doubt they would be willing (or even able) to do so now, even if you found them alive and in business. Your best bet would probably be having the boat measured for either ORC or IRC. This involves the boat coming out of the water... all-in costs probably just north of a thousand bucks. You'd probably pass, a STIX of 23 is not a big ask for a 36 foot long boat.

A lucky happenstance would be that someone else already had their Vision 36 measured, but I looked in the online databases and sadly that has not happened.

I think its AMAZING that Hunter/Marlow cannot tell you who designed it. It seems that the new organization has zero interest in the older boats, and their support. But, for those years there seem to be a 'gap' in the designer of record at Hunter, In the 70s some Cherubuni, the 80s it was mostly Cortland Steck, then Glen Henderson coming on in the later 90s. Who was drawing in the early 90s? No one seem to want the credit.
