Whitlock Engine Control Cable Replacement

I have to replace the shift cable on our Hunter 420. It has a Whitlock single lever engine control. I will also replace the throttle cable when I have it apart.Anyone had any problems taking the control apart or have any hints to give before I tear into it? I do have the two 9 foot cables and a new shift lever connector.Of course I am 150 miles from home in beautiful Boot Key Harbor in the Florida Keys.Bill

Never Mind

I tore into the job and spent about two hours tearing it down and re-assembling it. It was no big deal, just needed a crooked screwdriver for one of the screws.Bill
