I have a Hunter 34, 1984. I had a few minor repaires to the deck which now requires touch up painting. Anyone know of a paint which will come close to matching 20 year old white deck paint? Most of the area is on the non-skid area of the deck.

old white by Valspar
Chris, I just received a responce from Hunter. They have a gel coat called "old white" made by Valspar. Hunter parts dep. 800-456-3742. Only problem is if they need to ship it, they charge an additional $20 for HAZMAT. The paint cost $20. I am looking into local Hunter dealers to see if they have it.

Repaint every 20 years
whether the boat needs it or not! I repainted (for a color change) the non-skid this summer on a 37; decks , cabin top, cockpit, two coats in most areas. Less than $100 paint and supplies. Took maybe 8-10 hours over a couple of days. Taped all the edges and used a 4" roller. Needed a little foam brush work in some tight corners. This is a "feel good" project because you feel good looking over your shoulder at your boat when done. Or you could try to find a can of 20 year old paint that was left in the sun.
