Which prop for 25XP on Cat 36

Can anyone tell me the best size (pitch) 3 fixed bladed prop for the 25 XP engine? I think the one on there now is not original and seems to be underpowered. Thanks Chuck T

What prop?

We have a 1986 C-36 with a 21 hp M25 (not an XP)that came stock with a fixed 2 blade 15 X 10. I installoed a Martec 2 blade folding prop that is 16 X 10 and have been advised that is the root of an over heating problem that I have (blade tip to hull clearance) so I have contacted both autoprop and Max prop, recommending a 15 X 9 3 blade. Go to Max prop and auto prop and see what they recommend for your boat/engine. Good luck Bob
