I have a 1989 Capri 18. The plug came off the wires on the mast wire. There is a deck light with its own switch on the switch board, and a running light, also with its own switch, on the mast. All of this is DC 12 volt.
Right now I have a green wire, a black wire, and a white wire. The female plug attached to the deck has four unmarked prong holes, one which is larger than the other three.
How do I make sure which wire goes to which prong hole so that correct switch operates the appropriate light? Once I know that, I can reattach the wires to the male plug.
