Hi, I purchased my first sailboat last summer ( not counting my Lightning), a Beneteau F235. I sail mostly on the Hudson River. I will take some trips down to the Long Island Sound, but 98% of my sailing will be on the river. The boat came with only a main and working jib. I wish to purchase a genoa for all around use, but targeted mostly for light air days. There is a lot of tacking and jibing where I sail, like every few minutes. I'm concerned about getting too much sail to move back and forth. What size Genoa would you recommend? 110? 130? 150? Any other feedback, like materials to consider? etc.. I don't race the boat, but like it to perform well. I have a roller furlur for the head sail. We get a lot of light air days in July and August. Thanks, Steve

Congrats on the boat, You will soon be as addicted as the rest of us. Just about every one will have a different opinion on this one. I use a 135% so it gives a good compromise of not to big not to small. Sounds best for you too since you will be tacking alot. the shorter lp is much easier to trim. Have fun!! Mark
