Mine's a Merc.
I've just gotten my Mac26X. I am very impressed with the 1999, four cylinder, four stroke Merc. 50hp. It is the quietest outboard I've every heard and I keep checking the fuel tank, thinking "It must be out of gas by now" and it still is over half full. I don't know how much fuel it is using exactly, but it seems to be much better than many others I've had. The Merc also has plenty of power to drive the Mac to goods speeds. Best breezes
