All depends
All depends on a few things like PHRF ratting and keel depth for starters.Lets just say the all have a shallow draft keel and no PHRF is allowed.I would say the 320 would be all around faster because well, the 310 and 320 for the most part are the same boat (same hull, different deck). The changes made to the 320 were a deeper draft by 4", 50 lbs. more ballast and approx. 50 sq. ft. less sail area.I own a 1999 H310 and have always felt that the 310 is over powered and under balanced with the sail/ballast ratio. An over powered and unbalanced boat will not have a full potential for performance.Correct me if I am wrong. My feelings must have been right for the way to fix this problem is to make these changes that were made to the 320.I am be wrong, anybody else?Steve,s/v The Odyssey (H310)
