I'm installing a Racor filter for the Yanmar 3GMF on my H34. According to a web site I found (www.yanmarhelp.com) it indictes that the filter should be installed at the same level or below the fuel pump. "DO NOT... Fit the primary fuel filter above the tank / fuel level, it is very difficult to get rid of the air trapped inside. Where possible mount it at or below the level of the fuel lift pump".I'm looking for opinions on this advice. As far as I can tell the web site mentioned is not sanctioned by Yanmar. All the installations I've seen appear to have the filter mounted slightly higher than the fuel pump. Thanks in advance,Joe Mullee
