Anybody know where I can get replacement knobs that secure the portlights? Mine are white plastic with what appears to be brass thread inside. thanks

Part number!?!?!? Ha

I called defender and they told me they couldn't order the part if I can't give them the part number. Ha. The part number for a knob? Oh well.

Option

Steve I relaced all of these on my H37C with equvalent parts from West Marine. The difference is they do not have the brass insert which eventually slips inside the knob. The WM ones are not initially threaded. You just screw them on to the pinned shaft of the port locks. They self thread which is a pain the first time but after working a couple of times they are great. They were not expensive. Fair winds. Don

Another option

5/16x18 stainless wing nuts from hardware store.Caution, most threads on post are"staked"so that knobs won't fall off.Clean threads before removing remains of old knob.

Look it up online. Search "port knobs" and get the number.

Plastic knobs

I am not sure about the white knobs or what size the thread may be, but check Rockler woodworking on the internet, they have black ones and the are about $2.00 apiece
