For some reason, my Hunter 240 came with the table support brackets installed in some non traditional locations both in the cabin and the cockpit. I would like add some new supports where they normally should be located.

Does anyone know who the original supplier for these were, and if they are still available (new or used)? I haven't been able to find them anywhere on the internet. I'm even thinking about making some out of either SS or Aluminum. Any suggests?

Thanks in advance!

Bob;

Manufactured in the machine shop at Hunter if I recall. Ask this website to order one for you if available.

Thanks everyone. Your suggestions were excellent. It appears that this is going to be a DYI project. Now, I just need to find some 1/4" plate stainless steel that isn't too expensive. The design is pretty simple, so a few hours in the shop should allow me to turn out some brackets. I just don't think that I will be able to come up with a solution as "elegant" as the factory supplied version.

The table for the 240 is much different from the 260 and I know what he is talking about. Again suggest contact the forum's store to see if Hunter still manufactures this item.

The former Lats and Atts had Table mounts that I considered for my 240 (check the new Cruising outpost store). I ended up removing the "leg" from my table and adding a slider plate to the leg and some rails to the bottom of the table so I could store away the table more easily. Leg can be stored seperate from the table.

I checked with the Hunter Owners store and it is indeed a DYI project if I want to get some additional brackets. Thanks again to everyone!
