Late last season I started to get water on the sole of the galley. After removing the wooden paneling under the icebox, I discovered the source of water. The lip of the sole there was damming water under the icebox, then overflowing to the galley. I have eliminated any leak in the icebox drain hose. I also eliminated any leak in fresh water to the engine since water doesn't collect running the engine in neutral. I believe that the water is from the stuffing box drips while using the engine under way. The drips seem to follow a path starboard, then turning toward the area under the icebox. My real question is: How are those drips supposed to make their way to the bilge? Anybody been there, done that?
