I recently had the C30 shipped overland to my port. The mast was restepped and the yard connectd the Nav light wiring in the mast. Now I am looking to locate the wire path from the Mast step to inside the cabin. The lights are not working and I need to check the wiring inside the boat. According to the "Yard" the lights checked out ok when powered prior to stepping. any ideas?

If the 30 is the same as the 27...

...the wiring runs through the deck into the compression post and down to the bilge. The wires run the length of the bilge in a flexible conduit to the electrical panel. I replaced my whole wire run last time my mast was down and the portion of the wire run that was in the bilge was nothing but powder. Good luck with your wiring. --Greg

Where in the bilge?

I have the same boat and the same problem and have searched but don't see the wiring in the bilge. Can you be more specific? Thanks

Sorry...

I can't be more specific about the 30. I was thinking maybe the wiring on the 30 might be similar to the 27.

base of mast

i had the same problem and was told to drill about a 2 inch hole at the base of the mast and there i would find the wires. i did this with a hole saw found the loose wires and reconnected them. then made a plate out of aluminum and sealed and screwed it down. when you drill the hole file down the rough edges to make a smooth hole and it will not be a problem as shocking it might seem. my rig stayed up that way for years.
