where is ground wire ?

Hey everyone
I'm new on this forum
I bought last year a catalina 25 and I'm happy to find this catalina owner forum.
I have a question for you.The electricity doesn't work on my boat. I think it is a problem with the ground. My question is : where is the ground wire and the ground plate and where I can search for find where is ground disconnection.
I'm a french canadian and how you can notice, my english is not very fluent.
When your answer me, please, use simple words, like this one use in a scientific book.
