Good question!

This has been a big year for new boat sales so I'm sure he's busy at his dealership... but he also got flamed pretty badly by some users a few months back, which may have had some impact on his involvement.

crazy dave,

I /we would all miss Dave if for any reason he decided to limit his time here, so I hope that , if there were a few, ignorant people making sophmoric remarks he would consider the source, and know that they are a minute minority, so lets all hear it for a true gentleman and sailor, and judge of cheap wine, MIke B

I heard he was committd. Just joking. I got an email from his a few weeks ago in reference to a problem I had with my boat. I hope as things slow down for him he has more time to assist with this forum

Crazy Dave Report

Crazy Dave has been selling lots of sailboats lately and has been very busy. I saw him comissioning a new Catalina 310 with a blue hull in NC and I know he has been working his tail off selling many new Hunters also. Help is difficult to find in this area so he has been doing much of the work himself. I bought my boat from C.D. and I stop by and chat with him occassionally but he is usually away delivering another new boat.

Boat show is next week and I know he is getting ready for that. Plus the previous post on finding help is a problem. Jim SV Java

OK

Well, hopefully he will be back as his contributions were both informative and humorous. From his postings I got the idea that he could take a little tongue lashing. Outright flaming is always in poor taste but intense discussion can be proper. For some of the former check out http://yachtingnet.com/forums/sailing.html Alan

Dave is up to is ____hole in alligators

Got a friendly E-mail from him the other day. He is putting in lot's of overtime commissioning new boats. He is short handed and is having a hard time finding help. When the boat rush slow's down he'll be back. Mike Pajewski H26 "Loon"
