Bulbs

Now you've done it!!!! You have tweeked the burr under my saddle. None of the boat supply houses here or anywhere else I have been, carry a cross reference for marine bulbs (West Marine/ Boat US/ Boater's World to be specific). Guess what my Hunter manual tells us about bulbs -- Philips numbers, Osram numbers, but no Anchor numbers. Guess what the boat supply houses carry -- Anchor bulbs. I called the Anchor "800" number and was told they don't have a cross reference either. They gave me a Company in CA to call and the number had been disconnected. The only way to get replacement bulbs is to carry your burned out one down to the dealer and match it up to one on the Anchor display by "sight". Incidently, the ones in my swivel lights are large, two contact bulbs, not Halogen with two pins. Guess what else? They are 10 Watt bulbs and the only Anchor bulbs that are similar are 12 Watt -- Go Figure.

Sorry

Sorry, I clicked on the Bulb story, but somehow my response was filed in the ground story.
