Mine is pretty shot and cannot stand on it (rotted out on the inner side...)

Not sure of there is somewhere to get one of these for a replacement?

No where! I suggest that you take whatever you have remaining to a shop to repair it or duplicate it. This is like looking for another hull.

Is the top surface still ok? You can scrape/cut the back off and clean out the wood. Then epoxy a new piece of marine ply and build up a number of layers of glass cloth and epoxy. It will be even stronger than before as you can control how many layers. Even with some cracks in the top, you can fill them from the bottom. Worst senario at this point....paint the cover to match the surrounding deck and it will last.

good idea. I am not too handy at those things, but I have someone that could help me. I will try it!

The top of the hatch is still fine

fiberglass is not that hard to work with. If you have the old piece you can use it as a form. Either use the dimentions and make a light weight form or use the original and make a plaster cast.
the procedure is:
coat the form with gelcoat
lay up the glass to the proper thickness
coat the back side with gelcoat.

Kyle: I would take it to a surfboard shop. They should be able to do a small repair like that. A boat shop cantoo buti would guess that the price would be higher.
