For example, if you use a Raymarine ITC-5, where is it located?
I'm not crazy about the location it currently is on the boat (Hunter 29.5, 1994.). The current location is in the cubby on the starboard side of the aft berth, and it's fairly corroded, so I'm replacing it and thinking of moving it to inside the top of the pedestal, as that's where my readouts and chartplotter is, and it seems like it may be the driest place to have it.
I'm curious as to where everyone else has it, especially 29.5 owners.
