Where Do You Get a 9 Digit DSC Number?

I purchased an ICOM "IC-M402" VHF radio with the DSC emergency capability. I want to get the nine digit MMSI (DSC self ID) code but lost the literature that came with the radio. I understand the number is free but don't know who to request it from. Can anyone help?Also need a receiver jack to go from the radio to the GPS. The item number is NMEA0183 ver. 2.0. Where can I get this?Last question; what do the acronyms DSC and MMSI stand for?Thanks,Je Mullee
