JBE51: I promise you the THE SAIL TRIM USERS GUIDE will not be too advanced for you. It is boring to a lot of guys on this forum like RichH, Joe from San Diego, Stu J Scott and a few others. In fact, if your not satisfied I'll refund your purchase price and you can keep the book! I designed the book for BEGINNERS. In the forward I explain " this book may not be for everyone. If you wanted a scientific presentation, that includes intricate detail, together with a complicated formulae for hull speed, wave lengths and displacement/length ratios plus endless verbiage, then this book is not for you. Sail trim is an acquired art and simple to learn and understand when it's presented in an easy-to understand fashion". if your wife was teaching me to use a sewing machine or bake a cake I'd probably be confused until I understood the terms she was using. The first chapter speels out the sail trim terms you need to know and I indicate to folks that unless they understand the term to not proceed because sail trim will never make any sense.
In my grammer school days the first reader learning book was "Dick & Jane and watch Spot run". Some old folks on the list remember this book -- maybe!! Probably, Stu J but I'm not sure!! My book/chart is that first reader.

I wrote the book and developed the SAIL TRIM CHART for myself, I'm just a common seaman and not the brightest bulb on the tree, because I thought I was the only sailor in the world that DIDN"T GET SAIL TRIM!! Over the years I found I was not the alone and other sailors didn't get sail trim either.
I've sold over 9000 Charts and 6000 books worldwide and have yet to have to have one book/chart returned. I did have ONE chart returned -- it was from a MIT professor. He liked the material but felt the lamination was too thin -- it was at 3 mil but I changed to 5mil.
Some guys on this forum have purchased my products -- let's see what they say. Also, check with some of your mates on the HUNTER FORUM and get their opinion.
