As I said in an earlier post I'm looking for a Hunter 22.It is my understanding a Hunter 22 is a trailerable sailboat. Maybe not wise to trailer for each use, but trailerable none the less.Almost every hunter I find and inquire about does not come with a trailer. My thinking is this.1. If I were buying this size boat new, I would not think about not getting a trailer with it. Even if I was going to slip the boat I would want a trailer tobe able to take it home every now and then for projects and maintenance. (Bottom jobs etc.) and not to mention running from Hurricanes etc.2. If I had a boat and trailer I would not consider selling the trailer without the boat.So my question is How come about about 95% of the Hunter 22's I've found do nothave a trailer with them?Where did all the trailers go?does anyone know the original manufacture of the trailers hunter used for the 22?Do you think someone could build one to the original specs?Where could you get these specs?I may have to stop my search for the boat and buy a trailer first. Then guess what would happen, I'd find a boat with a trailer !!!!!!Id bet I could sell it though!!!!Why do most people have the boat and no trailer, does this boat not trailer well?I would assume it would trailer as well as a Catalina 22. By the way I can findplenty of Catalina 22's with trailers, but I want the Hunter.P.S. Anyone close to Sough Mississipi have a Hunter 22 I could take a look at?I'm quite possitive this is the boat I want, but want to compare the inside roominess to the Catalina 22.
