I just bought a 1985 Hunter 28.5 and unfortunately it is missing the interior cushions for the starboard side and the quarter berth. Does anyone have suggestions for how to get ones that hopefully match the existing or where to get replacements?
you can have new cushions made by contacting JSI in St Petersburg,Fl. www.sailnet.com they are ;I believe, the producers of the original cushions and have the patterns necesary to make new ones
If you look them up in the archives you will find their number. They have most of the patterns. Doubt that you can get the same material but they willl make just the part that you need.
They do a super job and highly recommend. They did mine two years ago and all I had to do was give hull number of my Hunter. They made the original ones and have all the pattens for the Hunter boats...just go through their sample patches of material and your done. Have fun!! ...Larry... "Sandy Sea"
