did it snap in half?
I hope your rudder didn't snap in half. If so, you will need to get a new one. If you just got some chips, you can probably repair it with some gel-coat compound.

Just repaired mine from previous owners and my own event last summer. Ready to spray the finish coats of gel and I'm done.
