at that age, the ropes and cables, rigging, stays, sheets, or what ever you call them will be ready for possible replacement. any 'barbs' on the rigging is reason to replace, deep scratches on bottom or sides should be looked at, and any areas with fresh paint. glass hulls appear to be lasting for ever, with the oldest hulls being overbuilt because nobody knew just how thin the hulls could be made. blisters in the hull can be a problem and cost much to repair and so would lower price of boat, decks are often braced with plywood and may have gotten waterloged over time thru leaks in hardware giving a soft deck which is also repairable and reflected in the asking price. missing hardware can be replaced from 'west' or anybody as most parts were 'off the shelf' and not custom made. in short, a 70 era boat is nothing to worry about, but may need servicing.
