Wheel steering autopilot

I wish to add an autopilot to my wheel-steering HR94 and favour the Raymarine ST4000 Mk II. However, I do not have current access to the boat and cannot check the feasibility of fitting in the space. What I would need to know is if there would be sufficient space for the motor to fit behind the wheel and into the wooden cover behind it, that is, not to foul any of the steering mechanism there. What is needed is space for a 48mm wide tube motor, mounted 152mm from the wheel centre, to extend back behind the wheel by some 231mm (171mm motor, 60mm cable connector) at either 145° or 325° in relation to the wheel’s circumference. Can any HR94 owner confirm if either (preferably the former) has enough clearance? Any tips on this subject gratefully received.
