Has anyone had experience adjusting or reparing a wheel brake on a Hunter 460?

I am working on mine at the moment........430........I have tried to clean and adjust......but it is still too loose for me, so I have ordered some new replacement parts (brake pads)...........and we will see how it goes from there......

however.......like I have been told.....it is not to lock the wheel, it should just hold it while you move around for a moment..
