This is aphoto of the wheel brake for My 1978 S2 8.0C with and Orion Helm Pedestal, I would think that it is factory equipment. Looking for brake pads or good material to make my own. Thanx, Geno.
go to an electric chaine hoist repair company and see if the have any pads that you can ese to replace what you have .....some body like Curtiss Mathais..or matbe Coffing Hoist co. hope this helps
Was there a lining on both sides or just one? The Edson arrangement isn't all that different. Perhaps you can adapt their re-lining kit to yours. It comes with epoxy and the pads just glue on.
