....but I think I've seen the text somewhere else. caveat Emptor. You're right to be hesitant. What smelly smell does my smelly smeller smell? "Mr Crab" I almost got skinned on an $1100 ebay "deal" so I'm going nowhere near another "deal" unless I see a title, photo ID of seller matching the title, confirm a home address & hm ph and run hull numbers to confirm the docts all align. A legit seller will understand and won't mind patiently confirming everything is cool. Good luck to those chasing this and if it's legit congrats but be very very sure of the doct package. I just got this email back from the seller. I told him I live about 2 hours from NY,NY and would like to see the boat. Hello , The `01 Hunter is in perfect working condition. My experienced Hunter tech has fully checked out this boat and gives it a special high rating has a CLEAR and CLEAN TITLE a great history and mechanically without any problems ever safety check and pre-delivery inspection along with a fresh servicing before I ship or deliver the boat. The problem is that in the meanwhile I had to move with my family in Netherlands where I got a new job as a construction engineer. I brought the boat here with me with the intention of sailing it but when I found out about the very high import duties and all the restrictions regarding registration tests here I have made up my mind and decided to sell the vehicle. The amount you will have to pay in order to own this boat is $7,800 with shipping costs included!I require a $ 4,800 down payment and the balance after the boat has been shipped. Also, I take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the boat,so be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions. This way, I shall be assured of your serious intentions. I only use eBay approved payment methods for this kind of transaction. Let me know if you are still interested.

I notified Ebay of the boat. It was a scam because I tried to buy the boat before as the owner wanted $28K for it. When I saw the same boat and same KA Numbers, the same notes, except it was listed in NY or somewhere East, I notified EBay as I didn't want to see a fellow sailer to get taken.
