What's the worst...

I've been thinking about the next Hunter that I would buy if I was buying one today. When I bought our H26 my criteria were 1)easy to sail, 2)lots of room and comfortable, 3)inexpensive. Well now I have more experience and new criteria. 1)FUN to sail, 2)comfortable, 2.5)raceable, 3)not new. I've been walking the docks looking at the different Hunters and comparing what I see. The newer boats are pretty but seem very chunky. They seem to have lots of features for making the boat easier to sail but not necessarily more fun to sail. The older boats do not seem very comfortable. That's my critique. Which leads me to my question: What was the worst Hunter made and why do you think so? Mark

...all of them ;^) . Seriously, I've only owned one, an '89, H28 and have had few problems with her.

Flipped

Hi Mark - you might get a better response to this question if you ask about the _best_ of the line...

Flipped over

I thought about that as I composed it. But I thought all I'd get in responses was a lot of "mine's great." I'm most interested in the boats to avoid if I buy another. Responses (if I get any) might show some trends. Remember the "sponge" rudder episode? Mark

Well, a trend did appear...

:) Maybe re-phrasing thew question to focus on problem areas would help. I think you got the exact inverse of the situation you were trying to aovid. ph.
