Thanks for the laughs

Thanks for all of your replies, laughs, and advice! I went to watch my 10 year old ride today. I haven't seen him ride much, but I was quite impressed. He looked like a real Cowboy! I helped tack the four legged thing up. Then while brushing him, he almost dropped a pile on my head. Yep, I shoveled that up too. I understand that "it is all about the relationship between a man and his horse." I had a very nice relationship between me and my C-30! We would go out, something would break. Then I would call the yard and ask them to fix it by the following weekend. Then a big invoice would come. Following weekend --do it all again! A very symbiotic relationship!! I learned that a 20 year old boat that has a great survey is a 20 year old boat that breaks down every weekend. We will probably own the horse while I try to save for that "near new," or new boat. Now, I know most of you out there on this site are "do it yourselfers." I do it myself in the off season, but sailing season is for sailing, not fixing. Got my eye on C-310s, or C-34s, in the mean time, I think I'll be shoveling poop for a couple of years!
