What's the best asymetrical head sail for the 240(without a spinnaker pole), where's the best price and what size winch is best (fit/ strength / price)..is there such a thing as a genaker for the 240?? Thanks been thinking about buying one for a couple of years and am ready!

Doyle APC
The Doyle APC works great on my h27. That's the one on this site. We don't use a separate winch. The sheet goes through a turning block on the stern to the same winch we use for the jib. David Lady Lillie

Where are you sailing?
I have the Doyle APC on my 23.5 . . .but I often sail on the rather narrow lake(river) near here. The point is that the APC is great for long reaches . . .but really bothersome to jib with. I have often find myself rigging it with a spinnaker pole to improve perfomance when I want to go dead down-wind and avoid jibing so often. Also consider a true spinnaker . . .
