Man, I really hate to do this, but I have searched the archives to no avail...What is a BandR rig? Does my 1988 18.5 use the BandR? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this setup? Are there any issues related to singlehanding? Thanks everybody. Chris

check out the reference library...

on the home page. It's down toward the bottom on the right side. There is an article there about the B and R rig.

I don't think so

Hi Chuck B and R refers to the rig used on many of the Hunters made from the mid nineties to present. It is characterized by swept back spreaders, a large full roach mainsail with a relatively small jib and no backstay. The B and R refers to two guys names...Scandinavian as I recall. Hope this helps
