What winch?

The standard winch on teh Vega was a Lewmar 8

I will check the photo and confirm.

Hi

Had a look at the winch and it is not the standard. It looks like an
Anderson but cant be sure.

I have uploaded a photo of my winch to the photo section.

The previous owner said they are older Barton winches, but Barton
replied to my inquery that they don't recognize the manufacturer, and
it is not Barton.

They are one speed, and seem durable. I do not know if they are the
original winches on my 1970, #712, Vega.

Anybody recognize this winch?

Thanks. I guess it looks Andersen like due to the ribs on the drum,
but I see no present day Andersen's with the handle inserted into the
base. Maybe someone else has winches like these?
