I own a 29,5 hunter 1996, im concidering replacing batteries,what would u recommened for starter vs, house battery?

If You Can Stand The Sticker Shock

I would go with AGM's for both. They just last longer, don't require charger/alternator recalibration and charge faster. Rick D.

AGM's

Are what I use. No gassing, no maintenance, no spills, no corrosion, no problems. You get what you pay for, factor into the cost that they will last at least half again as long as less expensive flooded batteries if they are taken care of, by that I mean don't let them sit around discharged. Leaving any battery sitting discharged for a length of time is the #1 killer of batteries

Another Vote

for AGM's. I use Lifeline 27's. Take a look at the link below. Optima's are another choice.

I went with Gel

because I put them in places that are very hard to get to and I didn't want to worry about gassing nor having to add water. Most current charger are "smart" and charge the gels just great. I use 3 type 27 on my H260 Baums Rush
