Sylvio, your surveyor should know what to look...
for that can affect the boat's integrity. Some things that come to mind: 1. Prop shaft zincs. 2. Strut bearing. 3. Stuffing box. 4. Emgine fluids. 5. Engine hours. 6. Engine filters. Most marine surveyors do not look very closely at the engine...you need an engine surveyor for that. Depending on how many hours are on the engine or what it sounds like when it's running can help you determine whether you need one. We've purchased two boats and did not hire an engine surveyor in either case. Terry
